The jar was filled with the hottest chili peppers that were ever found. One by one the Guru reached into the jar, taking out a chili pepper and putting it into his mouth. Each time his face contorted in obvious pain. All day he did this. His followers at first wondered what he was doing, but soon became concerned for him. They watched as over and over he subjected himself to what must have been the expectation and realization of a very agonizing, even excruciating moment. Soon they could stand it no more. They gathered around him saying,
