Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This page describes the rules for using DivorceWay.com. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

1) What DivorceWay is

DivorceWay provides general informational content and an online directory intended to help people find divorce lawyers and related legal resources. DivorceWay is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

2) No legal advice and no attorney-client relationship

The information on this site is for general informational purposes only. Using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and DivorceWay or between you and any lawyer listed on the site.

3) Directory listings and accuracy

Listings may include information submitted by lawyers, users, or third parties, and may be updated over time. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, accurate, current, or available. You are responsible for confirming a lawyer’s credentials, availability, and fit before hiring.

4) Verified, featured, and sponsored content

Some profiles may be marked as “Verified” or “Featured.” These labels may reflect additional steps taken to confirm contact details or identity, but they do not guarantee quality of service, results, or that the lawyer is the right choice for your situation. If we display sponsored placements in the future, those will be identified.

5) User submissions and acceptable use

When you submit information (for example, contacting a lawyer, asking a question, or submitting a listing), you agree that your submission is truthful and does not violate any law or third-party rights. You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Post private or sensitive information about someone else without permission
  • Upload malware, spam, or automated scraping/bot activity
  • Attempt to access restricted areas or interfere with site operation

6) Communications

If you request help or contact a lawyer through DivorceWay, we may route your request to lawyers listed for your location. We do not guarantee that a lawyer will respond or accept your matter. Response times and availability vary.

7) Intellectual property

Site content, design, logos, and text are owned by DivorceWay or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not copy, republish, or commercially use site content without permission.

8) Third-party websites

DivorceWay may link to third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or services.

9) Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DivorceWay will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on information from the site.

11) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12) Contact

If you need to reach us about these terms, use the contact method provided on the site (or email shown in the footer/contact page when available).
